Keg of horizon's lure is a facility made by filling a keg with 25 glasses of horizon's lure. The keg gives a base increase of 2.5% to most Sailing experience gained. It does boost the experience gained at the end of Barracuda Trials runs and the experience gained from the crystal extractor. Using an empty beer glass on the keg fills the glass with horizon's lure. This does not drain the keg and can be used to get unlimited glasses of horizon's lure.

The boosted experience persists while gaining Sailing experience off your boat if the keg was on the last boat you boarded. For example, sorting salvage on land will still give the boosted experience. However, if you log out, you will have to re-board the boat with the keg to get the boost back.

Since horizon's lure is not tradeable, making the keg requires purchasing some from Chartin' Charles McAtless in the Pandemonium Cave after completely charting 70 seas across all oceans. At the time of Sailing's release, this is all the seas available. As a result, both 78 Sailing and 72 Construction are effective requirements in order to build the eternal brazier to traverse and chart the entire Northern Ocean.

A player cannot take a drink from other player's keg unless they have gained access to the beer themselves.
