The profit rate assumes 230 kills per hour. Your actual profits may be higher or lower depending on your speed and luck.
Killing gargoyles with a Granite hammer is an effective method of obtaining a steady rate of alchable items and coins. Gargoyles have a chance to drop granite mauls and dark mystic tops.
If not on a Slayer task, the full blood moon armour set with dual macuahuitl will provide better dps, but cost up to 100,000 per hour to use, and costs 10,172,463 more to purchase than just the granite hammer.
If using the shortcut by the crawling hands, which requires 61 Agility, make sure you wear a Slayer helm or nose peg so that the aggressive aberrant spectres don't drain your stats as you pass by. A good method if not on task is to wear the nosepeg, as it is cheap and you can drop it once you get to the gargoyles to make room for more drops. You can switch to your regular gear once you reach the gargoyles. The level 81 ivy shortcut skips past the aberrant spectres, and is much faster for reaching the gargoyles, allowing for less KPH loss when banking.
Without access to a granite hammer or blood moon armour, kills per hour will be considerably lower. It is recommended to have the gargoyle smasher Slayer reward purchased to reduce the amount of manual effort needed when fighting.
