Although level 15 Smithing is required to smith iron bars, level 60 is strongly recommended so that you don't have to pay an entrance fee to the Blast Furnace. It provides a great opportunity for players to reap great profits by producing a large volume of iron bars (worth 141 each), which are used by low-to-mid level smiths.
With moderate attention, you can produce between 5,700 and 6,000 iron bars in an hour. That means the profit margin falls between 266,901 and 286,401 hourly.
First make sure you are on either world 358 or 386 (the official Blast Furnace worlds). After purchasing the raw materials, deposit 72,000 coins into the coffer. This will allow you to use the furnace without having to worry about operating it. It will remove 1,200 coins every minute automatically for a total of an hour. Then, place the iron ore on the conveyor belt. After this, retrieve your bars from the bar dispenser by clicking on it (if ice gloves are equipped) or dousing it with a bucket of water and then collecting the bars. Repeat this process until you either run out of ore, or the coffer is empty.
