Mastering Mixology is a herblore minigame located on the island of Aldarin in the Alchemical society. Players extract paste from herbs and unfinished potions to refine into new potions which will complete orders for the society. Players are rewarded with one of 3 types of resins for these potions which can be spent on tradeable rewards. The tradeable rewards with the best value are the Chugging barrel (disassembled) and Aldarium. The Chugging barrel costs 18,600 Lye resin and is worth 9,061,969 (487.2 gp per resin), while Aldarium can be bought for only 90 Lye resin and sold to other players for 80,142 each (890.47 gp per resin).

The reward cost for each of these items is unbalanced across the 3 resin types, with the Chugging barrel requiring 18,600 Lye resin compared to 14,000 Aga resin, for example. More lye resin can be obtained per hour from turning in incorrect lye based potions instead of correct aga based potions, however experience and overall points per hour may be reduced. This guide assumes you turn in each order set correctly in sets of 3, resulting in equal proportions of Mox paste, Aga paste, and Lye pastes and 40% more points per potion.

Herbs must first be ground into paste at the refiner. Over 120,000 paste can be ground per hour, or roughly 4 minutes of refining for an hour spent in Mastering Mixology.

Digweed occasionally spawn in the corners of the room. To maximize points and experience, collect every digweed spawn but only use them on Mixalot potions when they are ordered.
