A refiner is used to create reagents in Mastering Mixology. Upon depositing a clean herb or an unfinished potion into the refiner, players will receive 6 Herblore experience per herb or potion regardless of the type of herb or potion. Players do not need the required Herblore cleaning level for a herb to deposit it into the refiner.

Clicking the refiner constantly can speed up the refining process by processing a herb every tick.

Using the refiner whilst wearing ferocious gloves will no longer cause the player's hands to stretch.

Trivia

  • The depositing animation will show the player holding a herb even when pouring in an unfinished potion.
  • Attempting to refine non-Herblore herbs such as goutweed or sito foil simply yields the message Nothing interesting happens..
