Alembic

The Alembic is used to crystallise potions in Mastering Mixology. It should be clicked once to begin. After the player has visually pumped 5 times, or 4 pumping sound effects have played, it should be clicked again to speed up the process, granting 14 bonus Herblore experience per potion. If the player clicks too early or too late, the bonus can still be obtained by clicking again after 7 pumps, regardless of using audio or visual cues. The pump count resets if the player leaves the alembic and starts pumping again.

It is represented by the flask-shaped icon in the potion orders interface.

Bug:

If the player finishes the potion via clicking on the machine precisely and steps away immediately, the potion can sometimes be withdrawn from the alembic as unfinished, and the next time the player uses the alembic they will not receive an opportunity to progress it faster until after a potion is completed normally. Due to the consistent timing for the alembic however, this can only occur if the player had misclicked at least once. When this occurs, the message You collect the finished (potion). is displayed instead of You finish crystallising the (potion). upon first collecting the potion.
