Burnt pitta bread is the result of accidentally burning pitta dough while attempting to make pitta bread. The burn rate while cooking these will decrease as players reach higher Cooking levels, stopping entirely at level 37.

However, since pitta bread cannot be made until level 58 Cooking, burnt pitta bread cannot be obtained via normal means.^[1] The method used to obtain a burnt oomlie wrap cannot be used, since using chill to drain from 58 to 36 Cooking would take longer than it takes to cook a full inventory of pitta bread. Furthermore, pitta dough can only be cooked at a range, which are not found in proximity to areas with the chill effect.

If it were possible, attempting to use a burnt pitta bread with kebab mix would give the message "This pitta is too burnt to make an edible kebab."
