The cup of tea is a discontinued item that previously could be found at the Tea stall in Varrock. In RuneScape Classic this item was known as display tea, and could be obtained by casting telekinetic grab. As the item was frequently used in scams, it was made untradeable with the release of RuneScape 2 and renamed, whereas the stall was changed to display a regular cup of tea. However, it still can be distinguished from the normal tea by its unique examine information.

As the cup of tea was discontinued before 2007, it has never been obtainable in Old School RuneScape.
