Weapon poison is an unobtainable item that was intended to be released with the Ranging Guild, but for unknown reasons was cut before launch. Most likely, it would have been sold by the Weapon poison salesman, who was also not released. Since Weapon poison was relatively difficult to obtain at the time, it is possible the developers feared making it available in a store would cause the item to become too common.

It is referred to in the game files as "Display poison". This suggests that, similar to the Tea seller, the Weapon poison salesman would have owned a stall, and yelled at any player who attempted to take the display poison.

The item has never been available in Old School RuneScape, but remains in the game files.
