Zanik is an unobtainable item that may be placed into the player's inventory when Zanik is following the player during Death to the Dorgeshuun, Another Slice of H.A.M., and Land of the Goblins. Zanik technically functions as a pet during these quests, although the item version is never meant to be seen.

Three different versions exist in Death to the Dorgeshuun. Aside from the default variant, there are versions for when Zanik is wearing H.A.M. robes, and during the final showdown when she equips a Dorgeshuun crossbow. A fourth variant was added with Another Slice of H.A.M.

This item only exists as every follower NPC is required to be tied to an item. If the items are ever obtained however, dropping them will just cause the item to appear on the floor, rather than causing the pet to reappear.
