An unfired cup is made by using soft clay on a potter's wheel, requiring level 3 Crafting and granting 8.5 experience. One piece of soft clay will produce four unfired cups.

It is then made into an empty cup by placing it into a pottery oven, granting 8.5 Crafting experience. Unlike shaping the clay, firing it has no Crafting level requirement. At lower levels, an unfired cup can crack in the oven, destroying the cup and granting no experience.

• Unfired cups were created for players to mass-produce empty cups (hence each piece of soft clay giving four unfired cups) in order to brew forester's tea, which gave a variety of boosts depending on the type of leaves put into it, which would be commonly obtained as part of the Forestry update. However, this was scrapped before release, giving little purpose for mass producing empty cups.
