Morrigan's throwing axe is a ranged throwing weapon requiring 78 Ranged to wield. It is part of Morrigan's equipment, a set of Ancient Warriors' equipment.

On permanent Deadman Mode worlds, it is dropped by any monster found in the Wilderness as part of a global loot table, the chance being relative to the combat level of the monster. They can also be obtained from looting Deadman's chests and as a drop from breach monsters in Deadman: Annihilation.

The axes are compatible with Ava's devices, allowing a percentage of them to be recovered on use.

Morrigan's throwing axe has a special attack, Hamstring, that consumes 25% of the player's special attack energy and deals between 20% and 120% of the user's max hit. if the hit lands, it will also reduce the attack interval of the next attack by 1 tick.

Against players, it will also increase the rate in which the target's run energy is drained by sixfold. When this occurs, the target will receive a message in their chatbox stating You've been hamstrung! For the next minute, your run energy will drain 6x faster.
