Each robe piece of the standard Bounty Hunter set requires 78 Defence to wear, and must be charged with 5,000,000 coins before it can be used by the player. The staff meanwhile requires level 75 Magic and level 30 Attack in order to equip, and needs to be charged with 5,000,000 coins to be activated. On death, the activation fee is paid out to the opposing player, while an inactive version of the item is kept. When all robe pieces are worn, all magic attacks (both spells and magical special attacks) gain a 25% accuracy bonus. Zuriel's staff also has a stand-alone passive effect that boosts the effectiveness of Ancient Magicks combat spells while equipped, and it has an attack speed of 4 when casting offensive spells on the standard spellbook or the Ancient Magicks spellbook, similar to the harmonised nightmare staff.
The corrupted robes only require 20 Defence to wear, and must be charged with 1,500,000 coins before it can be used by the player. Like their counterpart, an inactive version of the item is kept on death while the charging fee is lost, and a 25% accuracy bonus is given to all magic attacks when all pieces of the corrupted robe set are worn.
The Deadman Mode variant of this robe set can be obtained exclusively during Seasonal events, while the weapon can be obtained in Seasonal events as well as on the permanent Deadman Mode world as part of the global Wilderness loot table. Each robe piece requires 20 Defence and 75 Magic to equip, while level 60 Attack and level 78 Magic are necessary to wield the staff. The staff has the same passive increasing the effects of Ancient Magicks as the Bounty Hunter version, but it does not share the same increased attack speed.
The set effect of Zuriel's equipment (bh) was changed from a 15% accuracy bonus to special attacks of magic weapons to a 25% accuracy bonus for both magic spells and special attacks of magic weapons.
