The chain was obtained from a crate in the old Myreque Hideout under Old Man Ral's house during A Taste of Hope. It was used to link the enchanted emerald sickle (b) and the rod of Ivandis to create the Ivandis flail. It was replaced by an identical looking chain with the release of Sailing.
Trivia
- Unlike in the RuneScape 3 equivalent of the quest, Legacy of Seergaze, the chain is a regular chain, rather than being made out of silvthril.
