Kael Forshaw is a guard for The Myreque in Meiyerditch. The Myreque is a group of guerilla fighters intent on overthrowing Lord Lowerniel Vergidiyad Drakan, the ruler of Morytania, and liberating the region.

He is found in the barracks in the centre of the base after players spy on Ranis Drakan and Vanstrom Klause during A Taste of Hope. After the quest, he is found in the basement of Old Man Ral's house, underneath the trapdoor, located in the south of Meiyerditch.

Kael's quest for freedom for the humans of Morytania came to an end during the quest Sins of the Father, when he was slain by Lord Drakan after he foiled his sister's plans to overthrow him.

After completion of A Taste of Hope, players can obtain Drakan's medallions from Kael for no cost. This service is provided by Ivan Strom after Kael's death in Sins of the Father.
