A bottle of light in the dark is an alcoholic drink acquired by prying open a sealed crate south of Last Light. Doing so requires a crowbar in the inventory, which in turn requires completion of Prying Times to obtain.

Drinking the bottle grants 75 Sailing experience, and will deal 5 damage, as well as causing the game screen to shake briefly.

• Despite the bottle's multiple warnings that state its contents are flammable, using it on a tinderbox, fire, or cooking pot does not result in any special interactions.
