Floating brooms are a sea charting object found in the Lunar Sea, north of Lunar Isle and west of Ungael.

Upon charting the object, a game message appears stating The magical spell that animates these brooms seems to have got confused and tried to sweep the salt out of the sea. You mark an area on your map to beware of low flying brooms.

• The brooms are a reference to the two Enchanted Brooms that previously swept the ocean east of Lunar Isle. These brooms were originally intended to sweep floors on Lunar Isle, but were instead teleported into the ocean upon server start-up and could not be seen from any accessible area.^[1]
• The examine text of this object makes reference the the waters of Old School RuneScape being referred to by players as a "blue carpet", as it graphically lacks any normal water-like qualities.
