A crowbar is a tool used to open sealed crates as part of sea charting. The ability to open sealed crates at sea is unlocked upon completion of Prying Times, which requires a Sailing level of 12.

If lost, another can be obtained from the cargo hold of a boat, or from the crate of crowbars behind the counter of the Pandemonium pub. Thurgo can also make another crowbar by speaking with him with a hammer, steel bar, and redberry pie in the inventory.
