A bottle of black lobster ale is an alcoholic drink acquired by prying open a sealed crate in the northern part of the Fremennik Isles. Doing so requires a crowbar in the inventory, which in turn requires completion of Prying Times to obtain. Additionally, a raft is required to reach this crate, as the skiff and sloop are both too large to fit through the channel.

Drinking the bottle grants 75 Sailing experience, and will place a rare black lobster in the inventory, as well as fully drain the player's Cooking and Fishing levels.

It is one of few sailing drinks that can be sampled more than once, though subsequent drinks do not yield Sailing experience.
