The Sleeping bag was an item that could be obtained in RuneScape Classic and the RuneScape 2 beta. It formed part of the fatigue system, whereby training skills would accumulate fatigue points. When this reached 100%, players could no longer gain experience and had to rest in either a bed or a sleeping bag before they could do so again.

The fatigue system was unpopular, and eventually was replaced by anti-macro events instead. As a result, the sleeping bags were removed.

• The sleeping bag is mentioned during The Fremennik Trials as one of the impossible items that Pontak requires the player to obtain before he will vote for them.
• An updated version of sleeping bags could be found in the Realm of Memories during the 20th Anniversary event and the 25th Anniversary event.
