Mining lead ores at the Deepfin point mine is a mid-level activity intended for skilling if power-mining. In this method, instead of dropping the ore, the player will bank at the Bank chest inside of the cave. Note that the bank chest in this location requires construction by the player before it can be used, requiring 70 construction.

Superior mining gloves or Expert mining gloves, requiring 60 and 70 mining, respectively, increase the number of ores mined because the rocks will not respawn fast enough to keep up with the player's mining rate without them. Lead rocks are affected by the Mining gloves, but these also require 60 mining.

Completion of the 1st tier of the Varrock Diary allows usage of the Varrock armour which yields a 1/10 chance of mining 2 ores at once. Wearing a charged celestial ring yields another independent roll of 1/10 for mining 2 ores at once. The ring also provides an invisible +4 boost to mining whether it is charged or not. Lastly, with 99 mining, a mining cape can be worn, yielding another independent roll of 1/20 for mining 2 ores at once

With the expert mining gloves, Varrock armour, a crystal pickaxe, and a charged celestial signet, one can expect to mine about 2200 lead ore per hour.

Superheat Item may be brought to bank less often, as 2 ores are needed to make a lead bar. However, it may not be worthwhile to smelt the ores instead of selling the raw ones on the grand exchange after including the cost of nature runes for the spell. If doing this method, 43 magic and 25 smithing are also required.

Check the live price and daily volume of items on the Grand Exchange before making large investments in any method.
