This guide uses rough calculations based on the following: You have level 61 and are using a Dragon axe, are participating in Forestry events (at an average of 5 events per hour when on Forestry worlds), and are using Secateurs attachments to increase the amount of Yew leaves you passively collect while chopping. Your actual gains will vary substantially based on your woodcutting level, choice of chopping location, and efficiency when performing Forestry event actions. You can expect further profits from the extra rewards from Forestry events, such as Bird nests or various Seeds.

Good locations that have no requirements to access include west of Catherby by the flaxfield or south of the Seers' Village bank in the church graveyard.

In Prifddinas, crystal shards are rewarded from a successful cut at a 1/40 rate, meaning one can expect 4–6 crystal shards per hour. Each crystal shard can be worth as much as 16,898.00 coins. A bank is available nearby in the south-east area. If in a Forestry world at Prifddinas, the rate may be lower because players will tend to cut multiple yew trees at once in places such as near the Zalcano entrance.

Players looking for halves of the moon key can choose to cut yew logs in Mistrock instead. Such place is close to a bank.

As Forestry events cannot spawn within the Woodcutting Guild, it is not a recommended location as you will not be able to receive Anima-infused bark or other Forestry-related rewards, cutting a lot on profit.
