The profit rate assumes 60 wave 1 completions per hour, but upwards of 70 is possible with maxed stats and gear. Your expected profit will vary depending on your kills per hour.

Also take into consideration how quickly you can get through the dialogue, get the splinters, and reset. Have the items you need to re-supply with easily accessible. While it may only take 20-30 seconds to clear the wave, it does take another 20-30 seconds to reset.

The Bulwark method relies on the Dinh's bulwark special attack to inflict heavy damage on all the enemies present and prevent the Jaguar warrior from spawning. It requires tanking the range and melee Fremenniks so high melee stats (80+) are necessary for consistent completions. Having maxed melee stats will increase the number of completions per hour.

The range/mage method heavily relies on the AOE damage potential of the Venator bow and Barrage spells for fast wave completions and to prevent the Jaguar warrior from spawning, it is highly recommended to use both.

One dose of Forgotten brew may be used to boost your magic level at the start of each wave if you don't meet the requirements for Barrage spells.

You should not take any food or prayer restoration potions as leaving after claiming rewards restores your health, prayer, and run energy, though it will also reset any boosted stats to their original level. Special attack energy will not be restored when leaving, but it will be restored when entering the Colosseum.

    Bulwark Method

Requires tanking of range and melee Fremenniks

    • Enter the Colosseum with melee gear and a Dinh's bulwark
    • Drink one dose of super attack and strength potions
    • Pick the Blasphemy handicap and start the wave
    • Pray Protect from magic and Piety before the wave starts, and turn on your special attack
    • Wait till the Fremenniks are less than 5 tiles away, then attack the Serpent shaman to hit all 4 enemies at once
    • After two special attacks, switch to your main melee weapon and finish off the remaining enemies
    • Claim your reward and repeat

    Range/Mage Method (Safe)

You should not take any major damage using this method

    Range/Mage Method (Advanced)

You may need to tank one or two melee hits from the berserker

    • Enter the Colosseum with magic gear
    • Drink one dose of ranging potion
    • Pick the Blasphemy handicap and start the wave
    • Pray Protect from magic and Augury before the wave starts
    • Cast Blood barrage (or your strongest barrage spell that is not ice) on the Fremennik warband berserker (middle one) as soon as the wave starts
    • Run next to the Serpent shaman and prepare to cast another barrage on the berserker as soon as you are one tile next to the shaman
    • Switch to ranged gear, equip the Venator bow and pray Rigour
    • Attack the Serpent shaman until only one enemy remains
    • Finish off the last enemy with the Toxic blowpipe and/or dump Special attacks
    • Claim your reward and repeat

Both of these methods should average consistent wave 1 completions in 20-30 seconds, or 50 seconds if the jaguar warrior ends up spawning.

Your completion speed may vary based on your performance, stats and equipment used.
