The profit rate assumes you are averaging 60 permits per hour and are above 81 fishing to receive the highest value rewards. Lower fishing levels will see less high-tier fish and lower permits per hour. Roughly 50 permits per hour can be gained from normal mass-world cooking. But upwards of 100 permits per hour can be earned from the solo-firefighting methods. See Tempoross/Strategies for more details.
Additionally, an average of 12 Spirit flakes are awarded per permit. When used to catch Raw anglerfish they are worth up to 2,106 each. However, it takes a long time to use all of your spirit flakes in this way.
