The Avium Savannah is a large plain located within Varlamore, just south of Civitas illa Fortis. The Colossal Wyrm was known to inhabit the Savannah,[1] whose remains can be found at the southern part of the savannah.
Alongside the Hunter Guild, the savannah also contains the Locus Oasis, the Stonecutter Outpost, as well as a large diversity of hunter creatures. Aggressive jaguars can also be found east of the Sunset Coast.
Transportation
The player must first travel to Civitas illa Fortis via Regulus Cento after completing Children of the Sun before other transportation methods become usable.
- The fairy ring AJP is located in the centre of the savannah.
- The Quetzal Transport System, unlocked during Twilight's Promise, has several landing zones in the savannah: one by the entrance to the Hunter Guild, one in Outer Fortis, and one by the Colossal Wyrm Remains. The latter two require a landing site to be built.
- The Hunter cape or max cape teleports players inside the Hunter Guild. Speak to Guildmaster Apatura with either cape equipped or in your inventory and she will unlock the teleport, after a brief conversation.
- A quetzal whistle takes players to the Hunter Guild's landing site. Quetzal whistles can be unlocked after completing 10 Hunters' Rumours.
- Civitas illa Fortis Teleport can be used after Twilight's Promise, and is near a quetzal landing site.

If you dig directly south of the crevice, next to the iron rocks, you can find an uncut ruby.
