Stone chests can be found inside the House on the Hill. The chest can be searched to reveal that numulites need to be inserted into it. 100 numulites can be inserted into the chest for a chance to receive a note written by Skeka which can be added to the Fossil island note book.
When first searching the chest, if the player has numulite in their inventory, they can insert one to learn that 100 numulite are required to open it. Inserting the full 100 has a chance to deal damage and display the message The numulites seem to rattle louder and a spike shoots out of the hole, stabbing you., have nothing happen and display the message The numulites seem to clunk hollowly and nothing happens to the chest., or to receive one of the notes to be added to Fossil island note book. Each outcome has a 1/3 probability.[1]
