Hoop Snake

Hoop Snakes are monsters that live in the Tar Swamp area of Fossil Island.

They can be stunned using a weapon's crush option (or being unarmed), allowing the player to pick up the stunned hoop snake. From the inventory, snakes can be rolled in a direction, mainly used for stunning tar monsters.

Drop rates are estimated based on 190,118 samples from the Drop Rate Project, unless otherwise cited.

The average Hoop Snake kill is worth 148.89.

• The hoop snake derives from a piece of Australian folklore designed to scare tourists. It is described as a snake that bites its tail in order to roll in a hoop and travel at an incredibly high speed before uncurling and throwing itself at a victim.
• The hoop snake is able to be first action stunned, if you attack it, you are able to instantly stun it and pick it up, before it is able to attack you back.
• Hoop snakes lack sound effects and a death animation. This bug has yet to be fixed.
