Breadcrumbs are a quest item in the Freeing Pirate Pete subquest of the Recipe for Disaster quest. They are made by using a knife on a loaf of bread, requiring starting the quest, and used as an ingredient to make a raw fishcake.

Breadcrumbs are also used as payment to a bellshroom plant in order to enter and exit a secluded area in the Tar Swamp on Fossil Island.
