Charles Charlington is an archaeologist gone mad, found in the small western area of the Tar Swamp on Fossil Island. He can be reached by using breadcrumbs on the bellshroom found south-west of the Magic Mushtree.

Searching him will give players an Archaeologist's diary, which gives some insight into how he got there. If players attempt to search him again, they will receive a message which states Doesn't look like he knows I'm here.

• His name may be a reference to the narrator of the Australian YouTube comedy web series 'The Big Lez Show', who shares the same name.
