The Ice Troll King is a version of the boss monster from The Fremennik Isles quest, exclusive to the Nightmare Zone.
In normal mode, he uses the same attacks as his quest version. He uses all three Combat styles, which includes a Melee attack, a Magic attack that freezes players, and a Ranged in which he will throw rocks at players and a special move, which will send players flying across the zone. His special attack knocks the player backwards which can be negated with Protect from Magic or Protect from Missiles. Using Protect from Melee results in him knocking the player into the wall for very high damage, which can be done repeatedly.
In hard mode, he attacks only with Melee, having no other special mechanics.
In Endurance mode, 3,016 reward points are earned upon defeating the normal difficulty version, and 10,357 reward points are earned upon defeating the hard difficulty version.
