The Tree spirit is a boss that can be encountered in the Nightmare Zone. It is a version of the regular Tree spirit encountered in the Lost City quest.
In Endurance mode, 2,078 reward points are earned upon defeating the normal difficulty version, and 8,976 reward points are earned upon defeating the hard difficulty version.
Strategy
Compared to the quest, the spirit is much easier to defeat, due to having full access to gear. Do note that it loses its undead attribute when fought in the Nightmare Zone, which will make the Crumble Undead spell not effective, but the spirit is still very weak to any other magic spell. It has only modest defences against Ranged.
On hard mode, prayer can be saved by deploying hit-and-run tactics with a ranged attack style.
