The Spade is an unobtainable item present in the RuneScape 2 beta. It was a unique copy of the Spade intended to be used somehow during Ernest the Chicken. It was identical to the regular spade, except the inventory sprite was rotated slightly and it lacked any wield animations.
It is unknown what the purpose of this item was, since neither RuneScape Classic nor RuneScape 2 feature a unique spade during Ernest the Chicken. In any case, it was deleted before the end of the beta.
