The profit rate assumes 60 kills per hour. Your actual profits may be higher or lower depending on your speed and luck. With a rune crossbow and diamond bolts (e), expect closer to 40 kills per hour. At the high end with a Webweaver bow, you can achieve as high as 100 kills per hour.
As the Chaos Fanatic is located in the Wilderness with the strong possibility of player killers appearing, only take a few expensive items that you will protect. If Desert Treasure I is completed, the fastest way to reach him is via the Ghorrock Teleport spell, or its corresponding tablet to teleport north-west of the Wilderness obelisk. Alternatively using a burning amulet to teleport to the Lava maze, and running west beyond the King black dragon lair. Alternatively, use a Wilderness Obelisk from your player owned house or by using the obelisk outside of Ferox enclave Keep using the obelisk to reach level 44 Wilderness where you'll run south into the Fanatic.
Nonetheless, the most effective way is to use Ranged while activating Protect from Magic and avoiding his green explosive blast. Chaos Fanatic will also occasionally unequip your items if you have open inventory space, so leave potions as 1-dose where possible, (if Alfred Grimhand's Barcrawl is completed and automatically smashing vials), and use food that leaves behind an item, such as pies or curry.
