Making prayer potions can often be a profitable way to train Herblore. With banking, one can expect around 2,500 made potions per hour.

To maximise profit, one should equip a charged Alchemist's amulet and Prescription goggles. These are obtained from the Mastering Mixology minigame, which requires Herblore 60 to participate in. Players without the Alchemist's amulet may wish to use the amulet of chemistry instead, although this can significantly lower profits or even result in losses.

After completion of the Hard Desert Diary, Zahur, located in Nardah, can combine your vials of water and (clean) ranarr weeds for a fee of 200 coins each. This can often be much cheaper than buying unfinished potions directly. Using a desert amulet is the best way to get there.

When you've finished making potions, have Bob Barter decant all the remaining potions into 4-dose versions for easier selling on the Grand Exchange.
