Rainbow crabs can be ground into rainbow crab paste which is an ingredient to make armadyl brews.
Crab trapping the first time requires the traps to be built. This requires a saw, hammer, 5 buckets, 5 planks, and 10 nails. A trap can be baited with fine fish offcuts and a rainbow crab will be caught 25 ticks later. Bait all 5 traps in a circular motion, retrieve caught crabs, crush the crab while moving to the next trap, and repeat.
About 740 crabs can be caught per hour with good focus.
