This profit rate assumes 39 attempted treks per hour. Your actual profit may be higher or lower depending on your speed and luck.

Escort hard companions along Route One. The aim is to complete runs as quickly as possible to maximize the number of nail beast encounters, so use the evade-encounter left-click option to skip any other combat encounters. Repeat this back and forth between Paterdomus and Burgh de Rott.

Use reward tokens on bow strings, giving a minimum of 100 bow strings per run. Alternatively, use the tokens on XP tomes for early progression of Agility, Firemaking, Fishing, Mining, Slayer, Thieving, and Woodcutting while still earning profit from the nail beast nails. Assuming 35 successful easy treks per hour, this would net a player roughly 40,000 XP across the seven possible skills (5,700 XP per skill per hour on average) on top of the XP gained during combat.

    Tips:

    • Your companion will rarely need food, but supplying them with 15 cheap food like salmon before starting can be helpful.
    • Bring a filled log basket or plank sack as you can repair both bridge events with either logs or planks reducing the time needed
      • Alternatively bring a good axe to speed up the bridge event with trees slightly.
    • Keep an eye out for the bridge event with undead lumberjacks if you haven't got the lumberjack outfit yet.
    • Armour is generally only needed while fighting nail beasts, so weight-reducing clothing can be used the rest of the time to conserve run energy.
    • The reagent pouch reward from Mastering Mixology can store up to 26 Nail beast nails to conserve inventory space and reduce bank runs.
