Rosewood logs are used for sailing.
The best location where rosewood trees can be cut is the Fossil Island. Depending on levels, players can chop 150-200 rosewood logs (63,150–84,200 coins) per hour.
Cutting rosewood trees on Fossil island requires you to personally plant the trees in hardwood tree patches and thus 92 Farming. With 3 trees, the limiting factor often is waiting for one tree to spawn back, creating downtime.
Alternatively rosewood trees can be cut on Drumstick Isle with 79 Sailing, this requires the player to have a Greater teleport focus (facility) on their boat so they can easily bank and use Teleport to boat to bank the logs.
