- Go to the Grand Exchange (or other popular Firemaking areas) on any moderately populated world and see if there is anybody training Firemaking.
- If there is at least 1 person there, start picking up the ashes from their expired fires.
- For additional profit, this can be easily combined with high alchemy while waiting for fires to burn out, and while running between ashes as they spawn.
- If there is a large enough amount of people Firemaking, or if they are spread farther apart, Energy potions may occasionally be required to be able to still collect most of the ashes spawned, although these are still cheap enough to be worth using.
