Zaff will sell battlestaves under-price to players every 24 hours, resetting each day at 00:00 UTC. The number depends on how many of the Varrock tasks the player has completed: 15 staves with the easy tasks completed, 30 with the medium, 60 with the hard, and 120 with the elite tasks completed.

The profit above is based on the elite tasks having been completed. The profit for lower diary tiers is as follows:

• Easy — 15 battlestaves for 105,000 coins, for a profit of 555 coins
• Medium — 30 battlestaves for 210,000 coins, for a profit of 1,110 coins
• Hard — 60 battlestaves for 420,000 coins, for a profit of 2,220 coins

Teleport to Varrock through the Varrock Teleport, enter Zaff's store north-west of the Square, buy the noted staves, and either bank them or sell them immediately.
