The mystic lava staff (or) is a mystic lava staff with a lava staff upgrade kit attached to it. The kit gives no additional bonuses, and is only used to add aesthetics to the staff. It costs 587,896 for both the parts to make the lava staff (or).

This staff can be also be created after the completion of the quest Scorpion Catcher by taking a lava battlestaff (or) and 40,000 to Thormac. After completion of the Hard Kandarin Diary and Elite Kandarin Diary, Thormac will only require 30,000 or 20,000 respectively.

While the staff is untradeable in its ornamented state, it can be reverted anytime, returning the mystic lava staff. However, the kit will not be returned.

If a player dies with the staff and it is not one of the player's protected items, the staff will revert to its default appearance, and players must use another lava staff upgrade kit to enhance its appearance again.
