The strange fruit is an item that can be picked from the strange plant random event, obtained from the Flowering Tree Forestry event, or stolen from fruit stalls.

It can be eaten to cure poison, venom, and restore 30% run energy, making it a potential substitute for energy potions and antipoisons/anti-venoms in situations where they are both needed. Upon being consumed, it prevents further re-application of poison or venom for approximately 18 seconds (note that this is not traditional immunity, therefore cannot be used to mitigate special attacks from a Dreadborn Araxyte).^[1] No Hitpoints are restored upon eating the fruit.

When eaten, the message You eat the fruit. It tastes great, some of your energy is restored! is displayed.

Strange fruits cannot be noted by Tool Leprechauns.
