Brownie

"Brownie" was the name given to a cut random event added to the game in 2004. It had the appearance of a very small brown imp. Its exact purpose is unknown, but it may have been intended to appear while training Thieving or Woodcutting.

The Brownie had three animations which still exist in the game files. It would appear, grab something (presumably from the player), then disappear. However, it appears to have been cut quite early on in development, as it lacks any options, examine information, or defined animations.

Ultimately, it was removed from the game files in July 2004, with its ID slot being taken by Cap'n Izzy No-Beard.
