The River Dougne ( DOYN^[1]) is the longest river in Gielinor.

The river begins at the Baxtorian Falls and runs south-east through Kandarin. It passes through Ardougne, turning west to pass through Castle Wars before draining into the Shrouded Ocean east of the Poison Waste.

• North of the Baxtorian Falls (the river's source)
• West of the Fishing Guild

• By the entrance to Ardougne Castle

• Castle Wars (only accessible during the minigame)

Travelling on top of the river rather than across it is possible by using canoes. Better canoes can travel farther, but require a higher Woodcutting level.

There are 5 stops:

• North of Castle Wars
• West of Tree Gnome Village
• South of Ardougne Zoo
• East of the Chaos Druid Tower.
• North of the Combat Training Camp

The river has many fishing spots along it. These are:

• At the top of the Baxtorian Falls (used for catching leaping trout, salmon, and sturgeon)
• Near the bridge north of the Combat Training Camp
• Next to the bridge just outside Ardougne
• Near the Observatory

• The river lends its name to the city of Ardougne, through which it flows.^[1]
• Although the river appears to originate at Baxtorian Falls, at the southern end of the city of East Ardougne, the river can be seen flowing northward. This is likely just a limitation in the game's engine, and not based on any lore.
