The River Amja flows north on Karamja from a lake near Shilo Village to the Musa Passage. Its banks are heavily forested, and many creatures such as monkeys, jogres, and the Shaikahan can be found there.

Near the southern end of the river, the river widens into a small lake. The lost temple of Ah Za Rhoon can be found here, visited during the quest Shilo Village. Farther north, a wooden log serves as an Agility shortcut across the river. The fairy ring DKP is near its northern end, near a karambwan fishing spot.
