Vesmjos | OSRS Index

Vesmjos is a large body of water between Kandarin and the Fremennik Province, connecting to Grandroot Bay to the north-west. The lake above Baxtorian Falls also feeds into Vesmjos via a waterfall. Other bodies of water that flow into Vesmjos include Lake Hemenster to the south and Seers' Eye and Merwick Lake to the east. Rower's Arm almost entirely cuts Vesmjos off to the north.

Barbarian Outpost is located on the western shore. Fossegrimen and her strange altar are located on the northern shore.

In the March 2025 Sailing Alpha, this body of water was named "Baxtorian Bay", but it was renamed in the June 2025 Sailing Beta.
The name Vesmjos may be based on the Norwegian lake Vestmjøs.
