The elemental talisman is a talisman that allows players to enter the elemental runic altars to craft elemental runes.

The talisman can be combined with a gold tiara to make an elemental tiara for 40 Runecraft experience at an elemental altar, by using the tiara on it. This makes the talisman disappear, but the elemental tiara can be used in just the same way and can be worn on the head, saving an inventory space when crafting elemental runes. Note: This cannot be done whilst in the Guardians of the rift minigame.

It cannot be used as the talisman ingredient required for crafting combination runes.

Since it is connected to all four of the elemental altars, the locate function may try to find multiple altars that are the same distance away, rendering it completely dysfunctional and causing it to give the message "You cannot tell which direction the Talisman is pulling...". However, if the player is closer to one altar than the other three, the elemental talisman will begin to function normally and guide the player to that altar with messages such as "The talisman pulls to the North-East."
