Fallen guardians are found in the Guardians of the Rift minigame. They appear whenever a rune guardian dies, as well as whenever a game of Guardians of the Rift ends. They despawn after roughly 28 ticks (~17 seconds), regardless of whether or not a player is mining them, and can be mined for guardian essence.
