The Nature Altar is a runic altar upon which nature runes are crafted from pure essence, providing 9 Runecraft experience per essence imbued. Level 44 Runecraft is required to craft nature runes.

Players may create a nature tiara here by using either a nature talisman or a tiara on the altar whilst having both in their inventory, granting 45 Runecraft experience. A catalytic tiara can also be created here by using a catalytic talisman and gold tiara, granting 42.5 Runecraft experience.

Upon entering the Nature Altar, the music track Understanding plays.

The entrance to the altar can be found north of Shilo Village; players can teleport close by via fairy ring code CKR or using the Achievement diary cape teleport to Kaleb Paramaya along with the rocks shortcut requiring 79 Agility. The altar can also be accessed through the Abyss.

To enter the mysterious ruins, players either have to use a nature talisman on the ruins, or click "Enter" on the ruins while wearing a nature tiara. Alternatively, a catalytic talisman or tiara can be used.

The maximum likely limit for crafting nature runes in one visit is 134. This would be achieved by having 91 Runecraft, giving a 2x bonus, and carrying 67 essence to craft (27 in the normal inventory along with 40 in the colossal pouch). The maximum possible experience is 603 obtained while doing the above with pure essence. It will give 904.5 experience with daeyalt essence.
