Mysterious ruins are ruins found throughout Gielinor that will transport players to various runic altars. Clicking 'locate' on a talisman will point the player in the direction of the corresponding ruins. They can then use the talisman on the ruins to be transported to the altar.

If the player is wearing an imbued tiara or correctly attuned hat of the eye, the ruins will have a left-click option of "Enter".

Trivia

Mysterious ruins originally existed for the Blood and Soul Altars, but could not be found anywhere in game. They were deleted in 2016 with the release of Zeah Blood and Soul runecrafting. However with the release of Sins of the Father, mysterious ruins were added for the true Blood Altar found within the Meiyerditch Laboratories.
