The ancient lamp is an item obtained as a reward after completing Desert Treasure II - The Fallen Empire. Three are given to the player, and each one grants 100,000 experience in one of the following skills, given that it is over level 60: Attack, Strength, Defence, Hitpoints, Ranged, Magic, or Prayer.

The lamp cannot be banked. However, if the player prefers to use it at a later date, it can be destroyed and reclaimed from the Mysterious Bandit in the Ancient Vault whenever the player wishes to do so.
